Post Doctoral Research Fellow (Ref: 98/F274C)

The award winning QUESTOR Centre, Europe's first
industry/university co-operative environmental research
centre has an opening for a Post Doctoral Research
Fellow with the Environmental Engineering Research
Group in the Department of Civil Engineering.

This position will undertake research in the development of
novel reactive barrier technology for in-situ remediation of
contaminated land and groundwater.  The post will be for
two years in the first instance.

Applicants must hold or be about to obtain a Ph.D. in
Microbiology, Geochemistry or related field.  Research
experience in Reactive Barriers, Biogeochemistry, Microbiology,
or Geochemistry is essential.  Experience in Biogeochemistry
of in-situ remediation or Microbiology of Contaminated Land
is desirable.

Salary 15,159 - 18,494 (Pounds Sterling per annum)
