Dear Julie,

we discussed this problem a few years ago. Due to a very severe pollution
problem in a river by arsenic compounds the question arose, whether this
arsenic compounds come from leachates of a near-by waste disposal or are
mobilised out of natural Tertiary sediments. However, as Steve Nelson
argued, there is, unfortunatly, hardly a chance to solve this problem with
isotope methods. Donīt you have any other accompanying elements (e.g. Pb)
that can help to solve the problem?

Good Luck

Heiner
