The upcoming Geological Association of Canda, Mineralogical Association of
Canada (GAC-MAC) annual meeting will be held May 26-28, 1999, in the
infamous city of Sudbury, Ontario.  There is a special session that might
be of interest to those who use stable isotopes in mineral deposits
research entitled "Geochronology and isotope tools applied to large scale
mineralization: problems, approaches and solutions".  The deadline for
abstracts for the meeting is Jan 15, 1999, and abstract forms and more
information can be found at

We anticipate a special publication will come from this session.  For more
