Dear Rolf,
I am certainly interested in more details, and I expect more of the
subscribers of the isogeochem list are. Therefore I post this return
message to the list as well.
I like to know about quality of Cr, purity and grain size (or whatever
factor can be important).
I sincerely hope this is not leading to the same type of problems as
we know for the Zn shot - where only specific types and grain sizes
work well, cleaned with acid, with smooth surface on grains and some
contamination of Pb, if I am right.
At least, it already is clear to me not just any Cr metal is working
correctly.
Another factor of importance is evt. poisening of the Cr metal (if it
needs specific purity level) by injection of solutions, both
containing salts and/or gaseous matters?
Just some considerations.
I am looking forward to hear details from you. And of course, if
anybody has comments or questions on this matter, let us know....
Regards to all,
Pier de Groot.
