Dear Steve,

See the paper by Halas and Durakiewicz, Improved adsorbant trap for
gases, Chem. Geol. 122 (1995) 271. It is important to adsorb and
desorb gases with 100% yield to avoid fractionation. The finger
described in this paper allows one to do it in a reasonably short
time.

Regards,

Tomasz
