I really don't know. We've only got a 251 here. There's an old Delta
somewhere, but I couldn't say for sure whether or not they are identical
from outside appearances anyway.

Ask Thermoquest?

Andrew,

Oops, this is indeed a nice difference in prices. Do you know if the bellows
are identical between the Finnigan systems? Can one exchange them between
251, Delta-S and Delta Plus?

Axel

Hi all,

I had Pro-Vac in Cheshire, England re-engineer mine to make the can
'openable' rather than the welded construction used by Finnigan. This was
extremely successful, it looks a lot nicer than the original, and the
biggest benefit is that it means that future bellows changes will cost only
about £200-£300 instead of £2500.

The original re-engineering, including the repair of the bellows for the
Reference (ST) side was about £650, and had about a 6 week turnaround.

Hope this helps,

Andrew
