Dear Friends;
We have a Methane extraction line in which Air samples are allowed to pass
at fixed flow rate to convert Methane to Carbon Dioxide for Delta 13C
analysis. To allow air sample to flow at constant rate contineously, we
are using Mass flow controller ( Range 0.1 to 5 L/min ) . This unit has
gone bad and we could not able to repair it, because as a whole we got
this Extraction line from Prof. David Lowe via CSIRO Australia as a gift.
This unit has to controll the air flow and also it indicates cumulative
volume of the air sample passed for conversion.
PROBLEM : When we put it on, the valve has to get it open and air should
flow, but is not getting opened and air flow is not there. Voltage to
operate this valve is there but valve function is not there.
My request are as follow :
1). Anybody can advice either it can be repaired or not. ( because inside
is like a Black box for me).
2). Suppliers address of this type of unit.
3). If someone has used it previously and now is not useful for him, may
like to donate to us.
Thanking you in advance;
JANI
