Dear isotopists,
The CNRS is organizing the 4th International Conference on the Analaysis
of Geological and Environmental Materials, commonly referred to as
GEOANALYSIS 2000. The meeting will be held in an abbye north of Nancy,
France, from August 30 to Sept 1, 2000, just prior to the Goldschmidt
Conference in Cambridge. The purpose of the meeting is to share analytical
techniques and to explore measurement problems. I have been asked to
explore the perceived need for a continuous-flow IRMS and a conventional
component to the meeting, particularly the standards and technology aspects
of these fields. Those of you who are interested in attending or
contributing to this meeting in this capacity, please contact me at
[log in to unmask] so that we can evaluate the interest in an
international exchange of ideas in continuous-flow and stable isotope
analysis. Info about the meeting can be obtained through
[log in to unmask] Thanks, Kurt.
