STABLE ISOTOPES AND THE INTEGRATION OF BIOLOGICAL, ECOLOGICAL AND
GEOCHEMICAL PROCESSES 9-11 July, 1996, Newcastle upon Tyne UK.
Many thanks for an unprecedented level of interest. I am now preparing the
final programme and this will be circulated with the registration
details. I am juggling with an enormous pile of offered
papers and trying to acheive the best balance for the meeting, so please
bear with me for a few more days.
Thank you to those who have already submitted abstracts: we will ask you
all to supply them on disk so that the AAB office can compile a complete
proceedings in advance of the meeting, with details included in the
registration pack.
However, I can confirm that four mass spectrometer manufacturers will give
presentations and be represented at the meeting (Finnegan, Europa, VG and
now Analytical Precision), with in addition several other
companies.
The plenary speakers will be contacted by myself individually concerning
their written and spoken papers, as well as directly by
the publishers, BIOS, to finalise the outlines of their contributions.
Those of you who know me already had doubts as to my sanity: however,
your enthusastic reponses will ensure that the meeting will be a
tremendous success, and prove that there is scope for integrating our
work at this level.
Cheers,
Howard.
