Dear Colleagues,
The Stable Isotope Ecology Conference to be held in Braunschweig, Germany,
from May 8-11, 2000 is rapidly filling up and promises to be a very
stimulating meeting. To date, there are 104 papers to be presented in oral
and poster sessions over a three-day period. Proceedings papers (optional
for all attendees) will be published in a special issue of the journal
"Isotopes in Environmental and Health Studies".
There are fewer than 40 openings left before the meeting will be closed to
further registrations. If you are interested in attending this meeting
please register as soon as possible. Our primary concern is that hotel
vacancy is rapidly diminishing (and cost increasing) due to EXPO 2000 in
nearby Hannover. If you have registered for this meeting but have not made
hotel arrangements we urge you to do so immediately to avoid later
difficulties.
For more details please consult the conference web page at:
http://204.83.154.70/isoecol/ or contact one of the organizers directly.
Have a great Christmas holiday and Y2K transition!
Len Wassenaar
