LEAD SCIENTIST  Isotopic Analytical Services Ltd, Aberdeen, Scotland

Isotopic Analytical Services Ltd has recently acquired a laboratory
fully equipped to conduct stable isotope ratio analyses and is
seeking to appoint a Lead Scientist who will assume responsibility
for running the laboratory and developing commercial markets for
stable isotope data outside of the oil industry.

The successful candidate will be able to document experience in the
following areas:

*       Operation and maintenance of stable isotope ratio mass
spectrometers and off-line gas extraction systems.  Establishing and
/ or developing new procedures.

*       The application of stable isotope data in a variety of
disciplines that may include water supply, environment monitoring and
protection, food, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences in general.

In addition to the above it is crucial that the successful candidate
has commercial awareness and a desire to develop and promote services
on a commercial basis.

It is likely that the successful candidate will have been involved in
research projects employing stable isotope techniques as a principal
method of investigation at PhD or post-doctoral levels.

Starting salary range £20K to £35K per annum depending upon
qualifications and experience + profit sharing.
