Dear List-members,

We are looking for other North American labs that would be interested in
sharing the cost of a cylinder of UHP-CO that's relatively 18-O enriched
(i.e. in the range of +20 VSMOW; 30/28 about = 1.3).  This isotopic need is
based on determinations using CO as the reference gas:

Kornexl et al.  Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom.  (1999) 13: 1685.
Farquhar et al.  Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom.  (1997) 11: 1554.
Koziet.  J. Mass Spectrom.  (1997) 32: 103.

Our supplier has offered to buy a cylinder if we can pool about 10 or so
users who would be willing to cover their portion (+/- $200?) plus
transportation costs.
