Robert:
Good talking with you this morning about the CO problem . As I
mentioned, we are very interested in getting CO of the appropriate
purity and having usable isotopic abundances. We would be interested
in participating with you to achieve this goal. Let's keep in touch.
My address is shown below.

Dear List-members,
We are looking for other North American labs that would be interested
in
sharing the cost of a cylinder of UHP-CO that's relatively 18-O
enriched
(i.e. in the range of +20 VSMOW; 30/28 about = 1.3). This isotopic
need is
based on determinations using CO as the reference gas:
Kornexl et al. Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom. (1999) 13: 1685.
Farquhar et al. Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom. (1997) 11: 1554.
Koziet. J. Mass Spectrom. (1997) 32: 103.
Our supplier has offered to buy a cylinder if we can pool about 10 or
so
users who would be willing to cover their portion (+/- $200?) plus
transportation costs.
Thank you.
