To those of you who are interested or know of someone who would be interested:
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate in microbial
ecology/geomicrobiology at Princeton University. This is a one-year
appointment with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will
be responsible for applying microbial, geochemical and molecular techniques
to the study of the subsurface microbial ecology within ultradeep mines in
South Africa and to bacterial transport at a Virginia coastal plain site.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in microbiology or closely related
field, a penchant for microbial fieldwork and preferably some experience in
either electron or atomic force microscopy, stable isotope biogeochemistry
or molecular biological techniques.

publications, and the names of three references to Professor T.C. Onstott,
