Dear friend,
I will be an colloborator on a large long-term project that involves
collection of numberous water samples for stable isotope analysis. One
aspect involves collection of rain water by meteorlogical teams from
hurricanes when they come on shore. I have heard that glass bottles
(250ml) are best for long-term storage of water for isotope analysis, but
it not might not be feasible for transporting samples by the hurricane
teams (+glass bottles are expensive). Does any one of the you use plastic
bottles (at least for transport) and if so can you recommend a good brand?
Thank you very much,
Hal Karlsson
