Hi all,

I am looking for a 'simple' method to measure dC13 of organic C in soil
samples on an EA-IRMS but I could not find a standard procedure. Looks like
everybody makes it differently. Can anybody help me with the following
questions:

- Above what soil ph is a acid treatment necessary?
- What is maximum normality of the acid?
- Has anyone tried to acidify the soil sample in the Sn (or Ag) cup
directly?
- Is there an accepted procedure available?

Thanks
