Lars,
we frequently silanize our glass tubes. But the reagent is MSTFA/CH3CN.
MSTFA is usually used to derivatize non-volatile analytes to prepare them
for GC-analysis. MSTFA does not give any acid products and thus might be
well suited for your needs.
What does the SPE procedure exactly look like? I have no idea about "NH2"
in that context.
