We have also had problems with beam focus behaviour. When the instrument
has been off and the KV comes on the focus will go to zero regardless of
what it is set at. In order to get the focus to stay at say 80 it has been
be adjusted manually. However, once it is at 80 it will change when the KV
is switched.
