Dear Colleagues:
Mike Engel, Kacey Lohmann, and I would like to bring to your
attention yet another special session for the 2001 Goldschmidt
Conference:
"Secular Variations in the Stable Isotope Composition of Organic
Matter and Carbonates"
We envision a series of lively discussions with respect to how
changes and interactions of Earth's systems (biosphere, geosphere,
atmosphere and oceans) are reflected in the stable (N,O,S,C,H) and
radiogenic (Sr) isotope compositions of organic matter and
carbonates. Contributions dealing with global secular changes and/or
unique variations during specific time intervals are welcome.
The deadline for submission of hard copy abstracts is 6 pm on 9
February 2001 and for electronic abstract submissions it is 6 pm on
16 February 2001. Additional information is available from the
Goldschmidt website: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/gold2001/.
Please contact us if you have questions.
Regards,
Michael Engel, University of Oklahoma (e-mail: [log in to unmask])
Ethan Grossman, Texas A&M University (e-mail [log in to unmask])
K.C. Lohmann, University of Michigan (e-mail: [log in to unmask])
