Following is a call for nominations for the 2002 Lindgren Award,
given annually to an outstnading young researcher in economic
geology. The committee seeks a strong pool of applicants this
year. If you have someone in mind, but do not feel you are the
right person to make the nomination, or are uncertain of
eligibility, simply send the name of the individual to me or to
our chair, Scott Wood, and committee members will follow up. Many
thanks. - Judy Hannah
