Dear all,

we are intending to install an active gas purification system for our
GC/C/IRMS system. At the moment we are using Agilent gas filters to purify
our He, but we think its insufficient for isotope analysis.

The people at Finnigan recommended the "Puregas" system from
cmc-Instruments.

Hence the following questions:

        - Does anybody have experience with that system and can she/he
          give a comment?

        - Are there other manufacturers of such systems? We have to obtain
          more than one offering.

        - Is it necessary to purify the carrier gas *AND* the reference
          gas(es)?
