I want to get rid of one essentially unused clylinder of bromine
pentafluoride and one essentially unused cylinder of chlorine trifluoride.
I think we got the bromine pentafluoride from Kreuger back when that reagent
was in short supply. As I recall, I paid about $2,000 for it. We analyzed
maybe a dozen samples with each reagent, and this is what I mean by
"essentially" unused. Both cylinders have been sitting in a fume hood for
about 10 years.
Whoever wants them can have them. First come, first served. The only
constraint is that I won't ship either to you. You will have to come here
physically and pick them up (or arrange for someone to pick up and ship).
Once out of my lab, this stuff is your responsibility.
If you feel guilty about such a good deal, you can take me to lunch
when you come to get the reagents.
