The Research School for Organic Agriculture and Food Systems (SOAR) has
through financial support from the Danish Research Agency (FUR) and the
Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) one PhD stipend
available:

It is the aim of SOAR to strengthen and to increase the scientific level in
research of relevance for organic agriculture. More than 25 senior
researchers within a number of research areas are attached to the research

The successful candidate must possess a relevant MSc and be approved to
admit the PhD studentship at KVL. Emphasis will be placed on the
candidate’s research potential and commitment.

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the agreement
between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Federation of Graduate Employee
Unions).

Candidates will be assessed in accordance with Ministry of Research
Directive 820, dated August 31st 2000. According to this a committee will
be appointed to judge if the candidate is qualified to carry through the
PhD-studentship.

including documentation for academic degrees, a complete list of
publications and copies of no more than 10 relevant publications that the
applicant wishes to have included in the assessment. Additional material
demonstrating the applicants scientific and teaching abilities can be

submitted in four identical copies.

In addition to the material submitted by the candidate the committee can
implicate additional material in the judgment of the candidate. If
requested the candidate must forward any material wanted.
