You could try to look at our paper published in Tellus B (Zondervan and Meijer, Tellus 48B,
601-612, 1996) about the use of radiocarbon and stable isotopes in CO2 for the discrimination
of fossil, biospheric and "background" CO2, and its follow-up paper in Physics and Chemistry
of the earth (Meijer et al., in press).
If this is anywhere near to what you are interested in, I would be pleased to hear.
