Dear Reiner Giesler, Said Amali, and other listmembers,
Dr. Werner Stegmann in our institute worked on Mg isotopes for many years.
He analyzed Mg isotope ratios of samples of human blood, blood plasma,
urine and faeces and bovine muscle by Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry
(TIMS) using a direct loading technique. He published one paper last year
in Analyst (Vol. 121, 901-904, July 1996): "Determination of Isotope
Enrichments of Magnesium in Microwave-digested Biological Samples by
Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry using a direct loading technique".
His email address is [log in to unmask]
Cheers.
