Dear isogeochemists,

I have a 400 liter liquid nitrogen tank conntected to a Finnigan Carbo
Kiel carbonate preparation line. I am observing for the last few years
that my LN2 consumption is increasing over the years. I am wondering
whether the isolation of the tank is decreasing. The tank is
vacuum-isolated and the question is whether I have to re-evacuate the
outermost layer of the tank. The tank is 8 years old.

Does anybody have any experience concerning this problem? Any advice is
highly welcome.

Cheers

Michael
