Hello All,
Couldn't help but to chime in on the Edwards pump issue. Here's our
experience: 14 of the 20 Edwards pumps we have are E2M2 or E2M5's, and
have generally performed very well. We rebuild them about every 3 years or
so. Of our 6 RV3's, 3 have had problems! Two of them were returned
immediately to Edwards because they made awful screaming noises right out
of the box. The other one developed problems with the shaft bearings and
began to self destruct in several months.
If the RV3 is an "improved design", I am still waiting to be impressed.
Any Edwards folks out there that can respond to this ? In the mean time,
I'll stand by the E2M2's.
Cheers,
Bruce
