In 1995 ago I looked into a UPS system for our instrumentation at a Mexican
field site. We ended up not needing to use a UPS, so I have no experience
with any manufacturers and therefore cannot make any comment on how good
they are. However, here is the list I came up with for your information.
Some of the phone numbers may be out of date, or the firms not even in
business anymore. Some numbers may be for dealers. Some may only specialize
in UPS for computer systems and may not be able to handle the power you
