WORKSHOP COST: $100.00 CDN (Includes banquet, lunches, snacks)
or $75.00 US
Note: In order to keep the workshop dynamic, space is limited to
approximately 100 participants
Call for papers and registration information
Papers or posters should be submitted showing data and/or techniques using
continuous-flow (CF) technology. The Workshop will be divided into four
segments:
1) Introduction to stable isotopes and instrumentation (Sunday)
2) Latest or new CF techniques including manufacturers latest instruments
(Monday & Tuesday)
3) Applications of CF techniques (Tuesday)
4) Demos of instruments and lab tours (Wednesday)
Raison d'etre: The workshop was recognised, at its beginning, to be a way
for the Canadian isotope community to keep up with the latest in IRMS
research. It has since grown into an international meeting applied to
CF-IRMS. The workshop is meant to gather users and manufacturers in a
single group to share information on various techniques using continuous
flow technology. It is a forum for manufacturers to present their latest
technologies and for customers to discuss their present and future needs
with them. It also gives users a professional group of research oriented
people to discuss analytical techniques and problems. The talks vary and
apply to different fields such as Earth and Environmental Sciences,
Medicine, Biology, Soils, etc.
