Dave,
We too have wanted to handle data management for Finnigan mass spectrometers
using a network. We have found no network solution. We live with Real32
and look forward with great anticipation to ISODAT-NT.
In the meantime, we transfer data from the mass specs onto diskettes in
Lotus format using the export feature of ISODAT. Then it is relatively
easy to import the isotopic analyses into LIMS for Light Stable Isotopes,
v. 7.0 (runs under Microsoft Access) and perform data management functions
such as calculating final delta values, printing reports, exporting results
to Excel worksheet files, etc.
