Dear all!

Would it be possible to use any multi-channel chromatography software (such
as Chromeleon) to obtain delta values from a IRMS instrument such as my
Finnigan Delta plus GCCIRMS? I may have too little insight, but to me it
sounds basically like a simple question of good peak integration and some
mathematics. Is it?

I suppose the easy part would be to
*       collect signals for 44,45 and 46
* integrate refgaspuls and peaks of interest
*       calculate areas

What about background corrections and time shifts?

The rest should be postchromatography stuff like calibration of delta
values with respect to the refgas, the Craig corrections and then the
calculations of 13C/12C delta values. No problem after some programming I
hope?

Did anyone try this?
Can it be done?
How to do the calculations starting from peak areas?

Your advice appreciated!
