Micha, Iain and others interested in S isotopes in atmospheric and
hydrologic systems,
You may want to take a look at papers indicated a few weeks ago by B.Mayer
about DMS' S-isotopes (Calhoun et al-1991 and McArdle & Liss-1995)
Here are some others:
Ohizumi et al (1997) "S isotopic view on the sources of sulfur in
atmospheric fallout along the coast of the sea of Japan", Atm Env v.31-9,
pp1339-1348
Wadleigh et al (1996) "isotopic evidence for the origin of sulphate in
coastal rain", Tellus 48B, pp44-59
Li & Barrie (1993) "biogenic sulfur aerosol in the Arctic troposphere", JGR
98, pp20613-20622
Robinson & Botrell (1997) "discrimination of S sources in pristine and
polluted NZ river catchments using stable isotopes", Applied Geochem v.12,
pp305-319
Herut et al (1995) "sources of sulfur in rainwater as indicated by isotopic
d34S data and chemical composition, Israel", Atm Env v.29-7, pp851-857
...and I'll be pleased to present,to whoever interested that will attend
the forthcoming EGS meeting, quite new results of S-isotope measurements
performed in polar ice-cores, giving insight to the present and past global
S atmospheric cycle.
