While we are on the subject of bellows (thanks, Lora), I have a question for
those running ISODAT with a Delta E. I am having a problem with the pressure
adjust routine while running ISODAT 6.0. During data acquisition, the SA bellows
fails to open all the way before evacuating the bellows prior to 'Sample Inlet'
(Multiport sequence). An error is generated ("bellow pressed to min vol") during
pressure adjustment resulting in the SA being run at some voltage other than the
press adjust level. I have adjusted the max/min setting in the system table,
but with no success. Some part of the software/hardware appears to believe the
SA bellows is at min volume during pressure adjustment and at max volume when
opening up the bellows, but the BELLOWE program in the ISOTST directory does not
confirm this. BELLOWE shows the potentiometer reading of the bellows being
somewhere between the set points (which, in reality, it is) while the program
readouts correctly track manual changes of the volume. The potentiometers are
mounted correctly and all the wires are attached correctly. Has anyone seen
this problem before? If so, I would love to hear from you.
