Dear subscribers and interested watchers of the ring test,
the number of labs who have indicated their interest to participate under the
new price conditions has exceded the critical mark of 30.
I have asked Messer Griesheim to start the manufacturing process. The flasks
will be ready by the end of April. Before sending out the gases will check
homogeneity. This will be done by Ty Coplen. Depending on his results we will
either proceed with the shipment or decide how to move on.
I will keep the list of participants open until the 15th of April. After this
date, additional applications can not be honored any more.
Each shipment will consist of 3 gases plus one dispensing system. The pressure
in the cans will be around 10 bars. You will also receive a form for reporting
the results to me via fax. Please copy the form and fill out one form per mass
spectrometer.
I will report the results of the test back to ISOGEOCHEM.
Regards Willi
