Dear Isotope Geochemists,
I am trying to build a system for d18O measurements in ocean water. I
understand that the process involves equilibrating CO2 with the water of
interest and then measuring the isotopic composition of the equilibrated
CO2. I would like to know if anyone of you have had any experience in
building such a system. I would greatly appreciate if someone of you could
advice me, either by sharing his own design or by pointing out some other
designs already available in the literature. An offline system would be OK,
with some comments on the procedures involved.
Thanks in advance,
Julio Villaescusa
