The California Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic
Substances Control, Office of Pollution Prevention and Technology
Development, is currently evaluating Lithium Metatungstate (LMT) used in
gravity separation laboratories and is soliciting comments from end-users of
this solution.
The evaluation encompasses a comparison of LMT to halogenated organic
liquids for the separation of coal and mineral fractions, as well as a
determination of the acute toxicity of LMT solution. As a current or
previous end-user of LMT you may have information which could prove
invaluable to this study.
You can assist in this study by completing and returning a short
