Dear all,

A special session will be offered at the Spring American Geophysical Union Meeting, (held between May 29th and June 2nd). The session is titled: "Isotopes in Biogeochemistry and Global Change".  We encourage the submission of papers on the use of isotopes in experimental and modeling studies to better understand natural and anthropogenic influence on biogeochemical cycling. In the session, we hope to highlight research pertaining to temporal and spatial changes in biogeochemical cycling and the role of the biosphere in changing the isotopic composition of major reservoirs including the atmosphere and oceans. We would like for this session to have an interdisciplinary focus with contributions from oceanography, hydrology, terrestrial ecology, and atmospheric science.  We are particularly interested in isotopic applications that explore the coupling between these major reservoirs (i.e. air-sea and biosphere-atmosphere gas exchange).
