Samantha and others,
deuterated hydrocarbon standards typically saturate the mass three detector (if
your actual samples are in the natural D abundance range and your resistors are
set up for natural abundance) and are also known to cause severe memory effects,
apparently even in the stationary phase of a GC column. For natural abundance
