Well, here's one more piece of anecdotal evidence; if we collate enough
anecdotes we might even get some real statistics. ;-)

 Our Balzers 170 TMP has been in continuous operation on our MAT 251 for
over 13 years with the original air cooling only. In that time the only
repair we made was to replace one IC chip in the THP 300 controller.
Operating in our favor, we are blessed with extremly reliable power here
in Seattle; only one unschedualed power outage in 13 years.
