Dear Tom,
Charles Scrimgeour and Ian Begley at the Scottish Cropp Research
Institute are using this method and developing it further. Apart from
H/D measurement they do 18O/16O of water and organic compounds.
Here are two recent references in which this method in an on-line
continouous flow set-up is described:
I.S. Begley and C.M. Scrimgeour; Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom, 10,
969-973 (1996)
M.J. Rennie, W. Meier-Augenstein, P.W. Watt, A. Patel, I.S. Begley
and C.M.Scrimgeour; Biochem. Soc. Trans., 24, 927-932 (1996)
Their address is:
Chemistry Dept, SCRI, Invergowrie, Dundee DD2 5DA, UK
Ian's e-mail address is: [log in to unmask]
Hope this is some help to you.
Best regards,
Wolfram
