Dear Folks with  flight tube woes-

Yes, its true.  We too get much better peak shapes after multiple vigorous
cleanings of the split flight tube on SIRA II's.   We have been using a
brush with liberal acetone followed by ethanol, then baking at 170 degrees
C  before re-assembly.  Huge difference.  The one that requires most
frequent cleaning  is the machine running hydrogen, oddly enough.
