Dear Antonio,

There was a project on fluids in the Stripa mine which was extensively
published in a volume of Geochimica Cosmochimica et Acta, of which some
references follow below. Another study involves the waters in deep mines
in the Witwatersrand. Maybe these references are not directly sorting
out your problem, but I hope they are helpful to it.
Look if you can use these references:

M.J. Duane, G. Pihozzi and C. Harris, Geochemistry of some deep gold
mine waters from the western portion of the Witwatersrand Basin, South
Africa., J. Afr. Earth Sci. 24(1/2), 105-123, 1997.

ground waters in a granite system at low temperature: the Stripa ground
waters, Sweden., Appl. Geochem. 5, 515-525, 1990.

chemistry and water-rock interactions at Stripa., Geochim. Cosmochim.

hydrogeochemical investigations within the International Stripa
Project., Geochim. Cosmochim. Acta 53, 1717-1726, 1989.

Some words on the remark of the use of the list for asking references:
I think it is no problem if people are asking for references for
specific subjects. Of course these references can be obtained by
searching a library, although not all university libraries are equiped
with the Current Contents or other searching lists (because of the high
costs of subscription) or charge you a lot to use the system. Also we
have to deal with a decrease in subscriptions to magazines in many
libraries, limiting the search for specific subjects directly in an
appropriate magazine. It may take quite a time to find a reasonable list
of references by searching yourself, while others - being well
introduced into the subject in question - already did the job and can
provide this information easily to others, thus saving a lot of time
which can be used in a far better way.

Cheers everybody, Pier de Groot
