Dear Cooleagues,

Somehow, I was not clear in my last communication about the D/H analysis
of water samples. In my opinion one can store hydrogen gas alone for long
time in pyrex glass tube, but if the hydrogen gas is stored with ZnO+ Zn,
there is a chance of formation of Zn(OH)2 which consequently produces a
fractionation in hydrogen gas and reduction in the amount of free
hydrogen. This had been observed in our lab.

Best regards

Mahendra
