In response to Unused mass spectrometers:

Dan brings up some good points. Up until recently the lab I managed was
using an old early 70's vintage IRMS. There were times when I could have
used some parts off of an old instruments. I have no major ideas other than
those of us that have unused "out dated" instruments hanging about should
periodically post them on this LIST. Those folks who are interested will
most certainly contact you.

Presently there is an old VG Micromass 603E at Rice University. I'm sure
they would like to see it removed in the interest of space.
