My thanks to all for their advice/solutions to the "System controller not
responding" problem of 9/30/99.

The solution of Harro A.J Meijer:

"We have had this problem also, at first once, then ever more often. The
solution to the problem appeared to be the small backup-battery that is
inside the controller (just as in "ordinary" PC's). Replace this battery
and your problems will be over (that is, at least this problem)"

has, as he says, taken care of this problem.
