Statement of Interest/C.V. due March 15, 2000
This Post-doctoral position is open to a researcher interested in studying
the role of terrestrial plants in cycling water from the
groundwater/soilwater reservoir to the atmosphere using stable isotope
measurements of hydrogen and oxygen on water collected from various field
sites. We are looking for someone with a background in both plant
physiology/ecology/ecosystem science and analytical chemistry (preferably
stable isotope geochemistry). Facilities include a stable isotope mass
spectrometer, with automated systems for water analysis, as well as access
to general biological and chemical analytical equipment. Please send a
