Dear Isogeochem subscribers,

This is reminder concerning personal postings on Isogeochem.
PLEASE avoid sending personal messages, i.e. not related to the list, and
addressed to one particular person through Isogeochem.

There are two main reasons for following this suggestion:

1. There are close to 600 people on this list....
2. Many users get annoyed by these postings and unsubscribe.

Accidents occasionally happen, and I must admit that some of these posting
have been quite amusing. But, please, make sure to check the "reply-to"
line before sending a message.

For those of you who would prefer to get the messages all at once daily
instead of as they get sent to the listserver (can be problematic on "busy"
days like yesterday) there is an option called "digest" which will let you
do that.

Digesting can be set with this command:

   set isogeochem mail digest

and can be un-set to resume normal delivery:

   set isogeochem mail ack

Digests are sent daily at midnight.
