Dear all,

I agree with the majority that Pier's books should be published in the real
world first and virtual world second.  Nearly a 1000 years ago Icelanders
wrote the monumental Sagas which can still be read today in the orignal
text (even by children).  I wonder how many versions of Word or other
software the electronic version of the Sagas would have been up to by know.

Although books are costly there is not much we can do about that other than
boycut "expensive" publishers - but no one does.  I think it would be a
mistake not to publish a hardcopy version - they simply last longer
softbound copies.  I for one would proudly display a hard copy in my shelf
and have a dog-eared softbound copy handy in the lab like a bible.

Finally many students these days don't want to read they simply want to
find everything on the WEB.  Let's make them read real books!
