But this is a ridiculous way of going about it, in that case. It's like
saying "we've discriminated in the past, so we're going to carry on
discriminating to set things straight!" ANY discriminatory statement or
action is illegal, (unless there is a justifiable reason why a man or
woman is more suited to a particular job), and thus more likely to result
in legal proceedings. Simply stating "we are an equal opportunities
employer" would make a lot more sense.
