Dear listmembers,

We would like to start measuring 18O in nitrate, since we're doing research
on nitrification/denitrification. We're just getting started with this
project and our experience on this field (18O) is limited. That is why I
call for your help.

Can any of you provide me references on the topic (specifically 18O in
nitrate in water samples)? We could also use an operating procedure on how
to prepare the samples before measurement.

We are working with Europa-Uk's Anca-SL, which will be modified to be able
to measure 18O in liquids. Until now we only measured 13C and 15N, so all
tips and guidelines on the measurement of 18O using this type of equipment
would also be very welcome.

I thank you in advance for your time and hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards,

Peter.
